Central Stories, Alexandra.

Another bleak day in Wanaka- and it was bleak all the way to Alexandra and back.
Alexandra is about 85 km from Wanaka, and I drove there today for a meeting of the Volunteer Oral Historian Group at Central Stories and Museum . The temperature ranged from -1 to +2C...and we were in a cold room....so I’m still thawing out. It was good to catch up with the group again- everyone coped well with the Covid lockdown, fortunately.
I’m looking forward to starting a new life story recording on Monday afternoon.
It’s great to be home in front of a roaring fire . Frida is exhausted, as she went to the Snow Farm with Jill today and had a great time in the sun above the inversion layer!
