The good life

What another perfect day l had yesterday. With temperatures forecast to be up in the late 20s l pottered along early to Despinas, our local Greek shop. What wonderful food they do, beautiful fresh fruit and veg and wonderful tins and jars of lovely foods. I bought some sheftalia that they make themselves, some fresh halloumi and big bunches of herbs. I then went over to the allotment armed with cold ginger beer, the Guardian crossword and my tablet and l sat in a comfy chair under the sun umbrella and chatted for several hours - just bliss. As l left l picked a lettuce to have with greek supper tonight
