Planning for Bramble Jelly

In my minds eye on the morning cycle ride is the sudden explosion of Blackberry flowers; the recent rain and now sunshine are bringing forth the flowers. Need to keep an eye open as they'll provide a goodly supply of brambles to make that all important Bramble Jelly.

Seemed to be a useful source for the daily photo so stopped and took the shot. As I was doing this I realised this particular clump had grown up round an old gatepost (just visible on the far RH side!). I have passed this way may-be 50 times in the last few years and never noticed it! Yet, another example of the ever-changing nature of our countryside. You can (just) spot the right-angle in the far trees. This post Ines-up perfectly with it. The OS maps confirm; a long lost hedgerow.
