Catching a cooling breeze

Although we are at the top of a steep hill in the middle of the countryside, it was 28.6°C (83.5°F) in deep shade today - the highest I've seen here.  Even the Red Kite was feeling the heat.  She was standing at the top of a tree holding her wings out, presumably for the cooling effect.
