A roundabout way

On my cycle home from this remarkable sculpture, I unexpectedly found myself in a busy roundabout. I was way out of my league. Don't know what I was thinking following another bicycle through it.

It was one of those four-entry, three-laned monstrosities and I lost my nerve. I froze and then realised I couldn't get out.

The point of this blip is to acknowledge the three kind people in different cars who got me out. They didn't know each other, or me, but had the presence to make eye contact and gesture me in and through the circle. I am so grateful and I can't find them to tell them.

If you drive a car and have ever been kind to a person on a bicycle who made a mistake: thank you!
