THE CHAIR

My dentist kindly shone the spotlight on the chair, but I was still reluctant to take centre-stage. What a relief, a little later, to hear the happy message, 'No fillings today!'

It's funny, isn't it, how the dentist can be the last person in the world that you want to see, or, if you have raging toothache, he/she can be the only one you want to see?
