Another aspect of Abergavenny

This street is called Pen-y-Pound. "Pen-y" is Welsh for "head of". I'm not sure what pound means - could be an enclosure for animals, or a ditch. The church is one I've previously pictured
here

The hill is the Deri (named after the oak trees which crown it) and is one of the foothills of the Sugar Loaf.
