This brave soul braved the elements including snow to take to the Clyde and race across the waves of the Royal West at the Esplanade in Greenock. The wind was so strong the boat clubs bins were being swept along the esplanade and I could not stand up properly and had to crouch against the sea wall to shoot this picture
