Yesterday evening’s approaching haar (sea mist) totally obscured the view limiting the visibility to less than 200 metres this morning but it then cleared up to give a hot day when it was a relief to walk in the shade of trees.   Meanwhile on one of the paths where we seldom ever see anyone there are masses of wild strawberries.  Although they are not as sweet as those growing in pots they still made a welcome addition to our meal and soon there will be masses of raspberries and probably very few will be picked there.
