We expected it to be thundery and wet on our walk today, but the sun shone, we had a good walk and enjoyed a delicious picnic.   We saw several of these Black-tailed Skimmer Dragonflies darting over a pond before landing on the muddy edges, I've not seen any before so was great to see.
It reached 28 degrees during the day but now it's considerably windier and the temperature has dropped a degree or two.
I loved the sign (in extras) that we saw whilst out on our walk.
