Portrait of a Gentleman

I'm fascinated with all the colors in this bird. It was another one of those situations when you keep shooting closer and closer and closer and the subject never moves. This pigeon was not going anywhere. He sat there making those grrrooo, grrooooo sounds, keeping an eye on all the surfers in the lane below. He certainly didn't care what I was doing.

The Extra is really today's headline story: Toppling of an Empire. At the start of SIP the red electric Jump bikes disappeared from the racks all over town. It took until today for the racks to be disappeared as well. Jump, which was bought by Uber, was then acquired by Lime, which decided it wasn't worth it.
