I broke out this afternoon, borrowing (with permission) my wife's delightful motorised roller skate for a little zoom around the local countryside, looking for Blips.  It's not umweltfreundlich, I know, but I hadn't been out for a couple of days.

For some reason there were flags out in a village near by – Armed Forces Day, perhaps – and since there are some chocolate-box properties I decided that this would make a stock photo worth keeping, as well as a Blip.

And of course the red-white-blue is redolent of that Johnson folly, the "Vespina".  The aircraft looks grand, even if the flag design is inverted, but it was entirely unnecessary, in my view
