Cairston Clouds (Day 1878)

It has been a day of zooming around, and mostly managing to dodge some very heavy rain showers.
We headed across to Stromness this morning to make a start on moving the horses from one field to another. We poo picked the field, hitched up the trailer then took down the electric fence and piled it all in the back of the truck. Across at yard, the trailer was emptied and washed out before we took the electric fence down to the other field and made a start on dividing the field. We managed to get into a fairly mahoosive tangle with the fence tape and it took a while to get sorted.
Home for lunch, then out with the woofers to Lyde. A little later we dropped the woofers with Mum and Dad, and headed to the horses again. This time to move the caravan which is a mobile tack room and feed store and get it set up in the other field.
At the suggestion of  my beautiful wife we finished off our day with a socially distanced Chinese takeaway with Mum and Dad. Nice to spend a bit of time and have a blether with them. The view from their garden was as good as ever.
