Departure

This is "The Inter-islander" which sails between the North and South islands here in NZ. There  are actually 2 services that do this but The Inter-islander is the bigger boat and preferred by the Non Sailors in this family which is all of us but especially The Bossess who currently holds the record for leaving yachts at anchor after going a funny colour...The Bossess not The yacht.....
She has however also departed but on a plane,
Images like this are often very short lived, especially today which has produced some heavy rain showers and kept us inside where we enjoyed a great Facetime chat with our good photographic  friend from the "Bless Your Heart" state in the US.
