Essex Icon

Essex pig, Essex Barn, Essex Records, Essex by Alison Moyet, Essex V4 engine, The Earl of Essex and The Essex Name, (not mentioning Essex Girl) all Essex but my favourite is the beautiful Essex Skipper butterfly. I've been spotting them for the past few days but this is the first that I've satisfactorily captured in our Essex meadow in 2020. Its diagnostic ink-dipped antennae can be seen.
