The Leaving of Liverpool
Early start for Liverpool to clear out Cait's house in Edinburgh Road-the street where Paul was born. Thea was staying in the house for the weekend to clear out her things too so we had a lovely catch up with her. Cait hadn't seen her since their 4 years together at Uni was very abruptly curtailed by Covid 19. It felt like an emotional day for me so I can't imagine how the girls felt. Caitlin had organised their traditional snack-Yorkshire puddings and gravy washed down with Prosecco-apparently it sustained them through their 4 year! Archie was also on hand with his work's van to help remove all of Eli's things that we had moved to Edinburgh Road when we cleared her house. Eli has also inherited Thea's Christmas tree and all it's trimmings. Home now and really not sure where everything is going to find a home. Thankfully the weather warnings for rain and gales didn't live up to their threats so the journeys were both good. I've abandoned the sorting for the evening as we are off work for 2 days. Cait is also relaxing with a Disney quiz via Zoom with her school friends-she picked Maleficent out of the hat-see extra.
