A combination of little creatures seen on a walk and the two that I was most interested in are the caterpillar and the first tiny moth which are both fairly common yet I had not noticed them before.  The caterpillar was feeding on some White Campion seed capsules giving it the name of the Campion Moth caterpillar  The tiny shiny silver and bronze moth is only about 5 cms long and found not on the walk, but in the kitchen, and it took some investigating to learn that its larva feed on birch and is called a Gold Ribboned Argent  Argyresthia brockeella
