Horsefly

This little fellow decided to pop into the house today - can't blame him - sheltering from the rain. That said - he was about 1 1/2" long, Shot on the macro lens, with flash, whilst he was standing on our double glazing. (The actual photo is sideways) - I liked the double reflection he gave, and the flash gave some gorgeous banding in his compound eyes. 

Of course he needs to be viewed as large as possible - on black.
