What happened to Summer?

Smudge is disappointed that the weather has degenerated, so has come indoors and slept all day, Juliette is back to sitting on my lap. Is that the end of summer then? Last week I hardly saw them!

Today I had a lay in! Makes a change to sleep beyond 8am. No sign of the loft mouse either. Having stripped back the itchy very old roof insulation I think I'll replace it with something more modern when I put it all back together, and remove the original straw insulation whilst I'm at it. This afternoon though I visited June and Steve for tea, biscuits and a chat. Also another excuse to give spitty another trip out.
