Blue skies

Edward Carson was the leader of unionism on the early 1900s and was there when the new state of Ireland was established in 1921. He was anti home rule.. Hence his famous quote
"We will never forsake the blue skies of Ulster for the grey mists of an Irish republic."
There were blue skies today at his statue ... And sadly division remains in our DNA.
