Walk Around Lake Padden

Shelly and I were in need of exercise and getting outside, so we headed up to Lake Padden. There is a great trail that goes all around the lake. The weather was perfect: sunny and cool with a breeze. We of course brought our masks which we wore whenever anybody was sharing the trail with us. About 80% of the people in the park did not wear masks. I find this irritating since there is a mandated mask wearing order by the governor of Washington right now. You must wear a mask, inside or out, whenever you are less than six feet away from others. So while playing and sitting together at a table and staying away from others, fine, don't wear a mask. But when you are walking, running or biking on the same trail as walkers you can't help but be closer than six feet apart. Wear a mask. Toward the end of our walk I saw a red-breasted sapsucker and was just able to get a quick shot of him. Love that bright red head.
