a grey day! with rain! yay! How i've missed them!  

Had to go to the post office today - first time since lockdown! - to pay in some cheques so that was exciting! And then we headed out for a little stroll around the local park down to the creek - who cares about a bit of rain! Probably very little has changed about the creek since the Saxon settlers arrived in the 5th century  - they named the area 'Beamfleote' meaning tree stream!

Lunch delivered from the local cafe again today and I think they're going to continue with home deliveries despite opening up for customers on Saturday. Not that I'm complaining! Food being brought to your door is pretty sweet!
