Adrianus IV

A statue of Adrianus IV in a wet Goedereede. Adrianus IV (born Adriaan Florensz Boeyens) was pope for a short period (1522 - 1523). The only pope to come from the Netherlands. Before he set off for Italy, he was pastor in the church of Goedereede from 1492 - 1507.
