New Normality day 9.
Mahon is celebrating gay pride week, with a rainbow flag on the town hall, and specially painted benches in calle Ses Moreres. Not the usual processions and gatherings of course, just as all the many fiestas have been cancelled.
Many people are wearing masks, but just as many either wearing on the chin, wrist or not at all. 1000 euro fine for non-compliance: hope it's vigorously enforced when the tourists arrive in numbers.
