Summer Border

The Lavender is starting to open and the number of interested bees increases on a daily basis. A frequent visitor, but never when there's a camera handy, is a Hummingbird Hawkmoth but they move so quickly from bloom to bloom and present quite a challenge to capture.. I also found close by yesterday a dead Privet Hawkmoth which was enormous, seemingly met its fate with its wings spread
