The first of the month and a very busy day at work calculating and paying the staff wages.   I drove through some heavy rain on the way home but you've guessed, it hadn't rained at home.   Since I've been home we've had one 10 minute shower, but if the forecast is correct we should have some tomorrow!!
As I walked into the kitchen when I arrived home I saw the pigeon sitting on the edge of the bird bath, he looked as if he was sleeping but opened an eye when I clicked the shutter.   I do like the different shades of grey on their plumage and the iridescent ruff around his neck.
