Lockdown Day 101 - Meadow Brown

Just a couple of normal images of a meadow brown butterfly. The one in the 'extra' is a male but the underside of their wings is so similar that I cannot suggest the sex of the main blip.

I saw a couple last week but failed to capture an image of one. This week I saw 4 or 5 and took several photographs
Meadow brown = Maniola jurtina

Also present in the same area were many ringlets, a single red admiral and an unidentified fly-by white.

Once again I drew a blank on speckled woods.
