Flanagan and ....

..... not Allen but Jones. Another bunch of sweet peas from yesterday's cuttings. This one is a combination of Edith Flanagan (salmon pink) and "Mrs Bernard Jones" (rose pink on a white ground). The latter was named in 1981 after the wife of the great sweet pea breeder Bernard Jones. I wonder what Mrs Jones was actually called as her sweet pea has possibly won more prizes than any other sweet pea variety.
