Magpie
Todays Blip is this Magpie on another perch in the garden. I should really Blip a photo I took of a Crow but I haven't looked at that yet and wanted to get my Blip done.
Yesterday didn't end that great and tired today.
Back to the Crow. I spent a good part of the morning staying out of the way of LG who is up against a deadline working at home. I stayed in a little camouflage chair hide on the patio. Garden birds will on the whole come into the garden anyway if I sit quiet but I don't think all would do so. The Crow for one. And in fact this Magpie wouldn't either. Back to the Crow. I was just settling in when a Crow landed 10 feet away from me and began strutting around the grass. So I as any good photographer would started taking photos. After it flew away some moments later I reviewed the photos on the back of the camera and noticed an ant on the Crow. Looking further I noticed more. Not far off 10 in total. Will keep an eye out when they next visit and see if it's normal or not.
The rest of the morning was slow but good at the same time with a number of different birds visiting. They did seem wary at times. I think we saw a Sparrow Hawk in the garden last week and the birds have seemed that little bit more jumpy ever since then.
Hang on a sec I'll just look at the Crow and add that as an extra.
Thats done.
Stay safe.
