What struck my fancy

The fleet is returning

I must have seen in excess of 20 trawlers returning to the harbour. They take advantage of the tide. This is the river Great Ouse, ahead is the sea, most of the water is seawater, when the tide is out the level is a few metres lower and not navigable. The trawlers thus come and go with the tide taking advantage of the powerful rapid current to help carry them along.

I was lucky to manage to get the sought after magical three in a line but in the main they were rather spread out with no photographic cohesion, such is a photographer's life!
