Art Attack

I organised a whole school art day based on the work of L.S. Lowry. As our topic is ‘The Seaside’ we focused on ‘Yachts’ We looked at his work and spent a lot of time colour mixing to get the right shades for sky, sea and sand.
It was a lovely day (also very busy and a bit hectic) but the children got a lot out of it. It’s interesting seeing the progression through the school from reception to year 6.
I dashed home for a 4 o’clock Zoom staff meeting and it’s Zoom choir later.

Also it’s 18 years today since we moved to Linton. Wish I knew then what I know now.
