Spidery

It’s been a long while since I had to resort to an emergency photo for a blip, but needs must.

Work started early and the day promptly vanished in a flurry of conference calls, emails and other tasks before the children arrived for pizza, chat and cuddles which were much more fun.

A catchphrase seems to have developed in our home which is them saying to me “Daddy, can I tell you a funny joke?” and what follows is usually the opposite, but delivered with a such a knowingly cheeky grin that I can’t help but groan and laugh despite myself.

I can’t decide whether it’s a blessing or a curse that I can never remember the jokes....
