I think Greece is the only country in the world having two national days. In both cases is not celebrated the independence day but the dates that decision was made for resistance or revolution that preceded that day.

So day starts with a military parade for whoever wants to follow, ends up usually with a good meal with friends or family. It's all a badly played theater, i know, but from the other hand who likes globalization?
