Thankyou kindly, dear conifer

Spotted this bright Bergenia flourishing in the shelter of a spreading, aged conifer that allowed the sunlight to reach it. Being native to colder parts of the world, this little pet seems to be enjoying just the right mix of cool shade and gentle warmth.
