Unfurling Clouds.

Not surprisingly, my iPhone just wasn’t able to do justice to this view on my run, this morning.

I was wanting to capture the cloud, rising up off Causey Pike. It appeared as though roller blinds had been suspended over the higher fells & were just slowly edging their way upwards. I got the feeling I was being teased- this bout of rain & cloudy weather has been here for a week now & is apparently set to stay longer.

However, maybe it’s just my eternal weather optimism but each day, there’s a suggestion that when you look up & unpeel the layers, there is a promise of brighter skies & further sunny days to come.

I really do hope so!
