It was lovely to get out after work today. I’m finding working from home I can go a couple of days without setting foot outside the house and then start to feel the need to escape. Georgia doesn’t take much persuasion to go out to the forest and that’s down to getting to drive the car. She was chomping at the bit before I’d even finished work but I was running late by an hour! Works full on and having just established a team working from home it’s all change as most are back to work on site and those still unable to return to site gain remote access and are trained up. So by just after five I managed to escape. We drove over to Bolderwood where we had a walk in the open forest ending up at the deer sanctuary where the doe, younger bucks and fawns were hanging out. Most of the newborns were staying near to mum, but this one a little older strayed a bit further, lost sight of mum and had to go running back over to her.
