Go for the Gold!

Dear Diary,

The garden is becoming more golden now with the daylilies.  Madame Butterfly was flitting from blossom to golden blossom drinking it all in.  So much choice!  Matt was to come yesterday to work but with Momma Robin on her nest, we had to postpone.  It got really warm yesterday, 28C, but the thunderstorms they said would arrive didn't.  Brandon was able to mow the lawn so I'm relieved.  No need for sheep!  Today will be a bit cooler, 22C.
