Fungi Friday Foto.

Not as pretty as your average flower although, if my spotter's book is correct, this (shaggy) parasol (?) is edible. It  qualifies this by saying that it may not agree with some people. It certainly lived up to its name, as it had a stalk of around 30cms and was about 25cms across. Plenty big enough for Alice's caterpillar. 
The extra was only about 15cms across with a much smaller stalk, so I'm not sure if it's the same.
