The Things You Find

One of us in the house is a Trekkie and given that I didn't arrive in Germany until 2010, it's not hard to figure out who it is.

I was at work today insofar as I took part in a three hour online-conference, then a 45 minute online meeting about how my company is planning for the "new normal", then a 20 minute meeting where it more chat than anything.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Working With Corona/The New Normal meeting.  There were around 250 people online for that and we enjoyed looking at the Powerpoint slides.  

The problem with online meetings is that you have to make sure that you have switched your microphone off.  

One of our colleagues hadn't.  

And in a pause between sentences, you could quite clearly hear someone flushing the toilet. Thankfully only the flushing was audible.
