La vida de Annie

Mercado de pescados.

New Normality day 11.
The fish market in Mahon has been spruced up with a lick of paint, and new flower planters placed outside. This is a popular place for tourists, as besides the fresh fish counters there are also many tasty tapas dishes to be enjoyed at the tables inside. Not sure how that will pan out with the strict covid restrictions in place, but lots of refurbishment has been taking place, not just in the towns but all over the island. I'd become used to overgrown road borders and roundabouts, but now all is trimmed, replanted and prettified. Extra is the view to the right, an area usually thronged at this time of year.
