26 year wait, 18 feet high!

Another day another garden visit. This time just down the road to Lullingstone castle and the world garden for its opening day of the season. Here's Tom Hart-Dyke with his impressive Chaparral yucca, it's only taken 26 years to flower from seed for the 1st time. The flower spike rises 18 feet and smells of vanilla if you've got a ladder!
