Fellow sewer...

I visited Jenny for coffee this morning, she inside her flat, me outside. We chatted through the open window. She’s been really busy with several sewing projects during lockdown. All hand sewn. She phones most days, sharing her latest idea or asking for advice on how to do something. Great to share a hobby and to be able to see into each other’s mind’s eye.

Household chores this afternoon, then after dinner we walked to deliver that cardigan I’ve been knitting (for ages) for Esmée, to my friend Glynis who will help with sewing up. I just can’t seem to get it right. I have a feeling it will be too small for her now! It began raining as we set out but hood up/ hat on we enjoyed the exercise.
