Cheer up!

Poor old tree looking rather sad.

I am not at all sad but am beaming after a trip to the hair salon - what a relief to get the mop hacked off (extra).  It was a rather surreal experience. I had to wait outside until escorted in,  then had my temperature taken before donning a plastic apron and gloves as well as a face mask.

It was a good day all round. We popped out to a new coffee spot in the morning. We are still avoiding enclosed spaces where we can but there was lots of outdoor seating at this place. It has opened in a nearby Orangery attached to a lovely old wedding venue house. The owners are having to diversify given all that has been going on and I hope their enterprise is successful. https://bridwell.co.uk/venue-orangery/  We even got to see some deer in the grounds.

I also had the chance to get several walks in and avoided the rain every time.
