Fabulous Fungi

I made some more soap this morning and then I set out to run a half marathon distance. My hip/shin quickly decided that that wasn’t going to be happening so I called it quits after a slow 5k and limped back home. Spotted these beauties on my way back through the wood - think it’s most likely to be a Beechwood Sickener (but could also be a Russula Emetica).

Also managed some reading and then we treated ourselves to a Chinese takeaway. All in all a nice quiet day (as required) and the crappy weather didn’t bother me too much.
