Leipzig Plantation

Sunday

Clive had taken Hetty out before I had even got up this morning and I'm an early riser!

We have a very successful rambling rose (yellow banksian rose) that covers one of our seating areas. When it is a hot day it offers welcome shade. The flowers come early and are usually done by mid May. This morning we gave it our attention. It still covers the whole area but is now far less dense. It was a good work out.

Mark turned up for coffee. He had a promising viewing of the house yesterday so we are hopeful for him.

The local should have reopened yesterday but they had a gas leak overnight so have had to postpone. Mark is disappointed as it is his second home but I am relieved. It is in a very popular position and crowds will gather. A week day opening will be preferable.

A walk through the Leipzig Plantation and beyond in the afternoon. Teriffically windy and quite exhausting!
