A moment of relative quiet

I was listening to a live presentation and Berry was permitted on the spare bed so I could supervise her and encourage her to settle down. The winds have sent her high as a kite with trees waving and leaves scuttering. I'm wondering how she'll manage Orkney but maybe the scarcity of trees will mean she's less stimulated!

More tidying up for the Tues viewing indoors plus a bit of lawn edging. The grass seems to still be in spring growth mode with the recent wet after such a dry start. Pulled up tiny weed seedlings in the borders; you think you've done it, turn round and find a handful more sitting right where you thought you'd cleared! The climbing rose was thrashing about so was thoroughly lashed onto its wires which will hopefully save it from destruction.
