Twenty-two Years Ago...

... I was working for the NHS and on the occasion of the 50th anniversary we all received this badge. I wonder whether two years ago the staff had a similar reward.

For the 72nd anniversary of the NHS, with today's changeable weather I was hoping a rainbow to support the blip might be appropriate, but saw only a very faint one low down in the sky. However, on the news an aerial view of St George's Hospital helipad showed the staff marking out the number 72 (see Extra photo) has almost the same colours, just not in the same order..
