Never Alone

I caught this sweet scene of this gentleman and his dog.  As I watched the two of them, I was curious.... what was the man thinking? was this a morning ritual? was he alone or just out for a walk?  As I continued to watch, his buddy just watched and waited patiently for his master to finish his thoughts, his prayers, his quiet time and when it was time to leave, these two best friends got up and walked on.
These are strange times as I didn’t feel comfortable approaching this man and invading his space or making him feel uncomfortable in these Covid times.... but I was comforted to know that his dog will sit by him for hours and never let him feel alone.
