Unusual sight

This dunnock has learned that if the goldfinches aren't around to litter his patch with their sunflower seed debris then he must attempt to get some seeds for himself.  There is a family of dunnocks that visit the garden and they scamper around in the undergrowth like mice.  Their feet have not developed perching ability so he hardly stays long enough to pick out a seed before he overbalances and flies down to eat his prize on the ground.  In the extras is a dragonfly nymph that started to crawl up a flag reed in the sunshine but soon thought the better of it and went back down into the water.  I expect he will try again early tomorrow.
