Lockdown - Day 108

Dyrham Park, South Gloucestershire

Finally made it to Dyrham Park today, up on the edge of the Cotswolds. We were only there for an hour, but that was long enough for a stroll to the viewpoint overlooking the house, and a mini picnic in the car; 16 degrees and oh so windy! Numbers were restricted so it was quite quiet, and most people were good on social distancing, unlike the skittish deer. I don’t know if it was the wind or the visitors, or maybe the fact that there were a lot of deer with fawns, but they were zooming all over the parkland today.  (In extras, more deer and views of Dyrham Park).

Back home, I had to give up on placing our supermarket order, the Internet was nonexistent. It’s taken forever and a day to upload my blip this evening, so if you don’t hear from me you’ll know why.

Take care, stay safe and well...
